[Hello! If you’re receiving this newsletter it’s because you either signed up or you nabbed one of my books as a freebie through BookFunnel. It’s totally fine if you unsubscribe but please do not report my newsletter as spam. Thank you!]

I did it! After a couple of years and a few false starts, UNTETHERED has finally been fully drafted. Sitting at a beefy 110k, I can almost guarantee I will be adding words as I tend to underwrite, and I already have notes of the additions I wish to make. I am not beating the doorstopper allegations. That means, come hell or high water, y’all will have UNTETHERED by the end of the year. I’m so excited!

I don’t have too much news this month as I will be elbow-deep in drafting across multiple projects these next few months (including a secret project that will be announced in the coming months), but I did want to note that I have decided to reopen my Itch storefront. I’m still iffy about Itch after what happened last year, but as of now, it’s the only platform where I can bundle my books with other authors. I have removed all of the content warnings on Itch but content warnings are always available on my website.

March Wrap-Up

I read so much in January and February that I took a bit of a break in March. I read CALIBAN’S WAR which is the second book in The Expanse series and loved it so much. Avasarala and Bobbie my beloveds. I DNFed a few other books because I wasn’t in the mood, but I will probably get back to them this month.

What I Watched…

Watching our weekly shows which consist of Will Trent, High Potential, and the newest Critical Role campaign. I am so upset they cancelled Spring Baking Championship for whatever nonsense baking championship that I don’t care about. Food Network has gone downhill. We also watched The Untamed on Netflix and man, it got dark (in a good way).

  • Murder in Monaco-A Netflix documentary about the death of a well-known banker and all the people that could be responsible. Devolves into a Benny Hill sketch with the “culprits” antics. My letterboxd review was: “I don’t know if he’s entirely responsible but he’s a liar, liar pants on fire.”

  • Smile 2-A worthy sequel to the first Smile movie. Bloody. Surreal. The screams are so good and haunt me even now.

  • Anaconda (2025)-I never saw the original. I only watched the blood orchid one. Yet, when I saw the trailers for this, I was excited. It was everything I hoped it would be as in it was so ridiculously funny that I almost peed myself laughing.

  • The Great Flood (2025)-I love a good disaster movie, and I love Korean movies. The flood ended up being only a part of the story as it dug deep into one of my favorite questions “what makes us human?”

What I Played…

I’m still playing Fae Farm. At this point, I’m achievement hunting and trying to get all the crop and flower variations. This doesn’t feel like a game I would replay as much as I do Coral Island and Stardew Valley so I am trying to squeeze everything out of it now before I move on. I am also super excited for Grave Seasons coming out in August! I have been looking forward to this game since it was announced years ago and I’m so glad a publisher picked it up so the devs could get it out.

I’ll be back about mid-month with some sale announcements! Here’s a pic of Emmy to tide you over <3
